Pokemon Maroon - Chapter 3 She walked down the street to the professor's lab, the Shuppet hiding beneath her shirt again, while the Togepi egg rested just below her chest. As she reached the building she adjusted the egg and pulled open the neck of her shirt, attempting to coax out the Shuppet. "Don't worry little guy," she said, "Nothing's gonna hurt you."Pokemon Maroon - Chapter 3 by ~iamkain
Slowly the Shuppet floated out, unfurling its body as it floated beside her.
"Alright, come on now." She opened the door to the lab and walked in. "Morning Greg." she said to one of the researchers.
"Morning Eve," he said, turning to her. He raised an eyebrow as he saw her casual clothing. "Planning a trip?"

Her family put Ash down a week later.
They didn't make a great ceremony out of it. Her father merely gave her a tonic he had prepared before she had gone to sleep. The Ponyta had neighed happily but weakly, wandered into her stall, and drifted into a permanent sleep. The others mourned her when they found her in the morning, but were quickly stopped by her father and led out to graze by herself. When she returned with them a few hours later the body was gone, her mother kneeling in its place as she cleaned out the stall.

Pokemon Maroon - Chapter 1It was late in the morning when the sun shone through Eve's window. The girl yawned and groaned as its light passed over her face, squinting and shading her eyes as she awoke. She turned to the window, then to her room's wall clock. "Wait...what time is it?" she mumbled, sitting up slightly as she tried to better read the clock. Her eyes shot open wide as she read the time. "Ten-forty!? Oh dang it, I'm gonna be late!"Pokemon Maroon - Chapter 1 by ~iamkain
She threw herself out of bed, tearing through her drawers as she got herself dressed in her usual farming gear. As she sat on her bed to get her shoes on she heard her door open. "Mornin' sis." said her brother as he walked in
He exists? What I am about to say is effectively off-character and quite serious. I'm not exactly sure what I have managed to get myself into nor do I know if this is the real thing or if someone is just pulling my leg, but I am a bit scared, if not utterly disturbed. He exists? by *Mutitus
Those who take the time to look at my non-Pokemon work by now have likely realized to some degree that I am a huge fan of Rez from the Gex series of games. I've always enjoyed the character simply for the creativity that went into his construction, but lately I've been looking more closely at this character and realized that he has a lot of potential. Gex…well, let's be honest, bringing him back would be like Duke Nukem Forever, and we all know how badly that turned out. But Rez is different. His entire character is built off of the media itself; granted, his specialty is bad TV and movies, but overall, his power in the world today would be greater than ever before, for the media is literally connected to nearly every single hu
Sexy VS SexistIt seems that the gaming world is finally waking up to the fact that women DO actually play video games. They (the gaming industry) are not being mature about it, but the fact that a female perspective and voice is being heard more and more is a very good thing in my books.Sexy VS Sexist by *TomPreston
The latest controversy to break out in the video game world has been over niche gaming studio Vanillaware's recent title "Dragon's Crown," and the absurdly sexualized female character of "The Sorceress" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQKCgal1vdw
Some people are, naturally, offended that such a ludicrous character design with no sense of reality or function even exists, while the other side keeps saying "why are we even talking about this?" Both sides are being vocal, but they also seem to be talking past one another. One side seems to want to rid gaming entirely of sexy character designs, while the other seems to think this is some sort of "feminist agenda" and are being sexist in response because they fear having a
Petition about Merida from BraveIf you haven't heard already, Disney redesigned the main character from Brave to be more "princess like". Slimmer, more pretty, etc.Petition about Merida from Brave by *Nimaru
I don't mind "reboots" or changes to a brand if they're done intelligently and with respect to the brand, but I think this isn't one of those. Brave, in my opinion, was a huge disappointment: predictable, unbelievable, and lame. The only really good thing was Merida and now they want to water her down with this new design.
Anyway, if you care to look at the issue, here's the petition to tell Disney to stuff it: https://www.change.org/petitions/disney-say-no-to-the-merida-makeover-keep-our-hero-brave
